Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas one and all!!! I realize I haven’t been around to guide my flock and give the attention they so crave but I came down with the flu last week. My doctor said it would be about two weeks until I started feeling better. I thought she was exaggerating but apparently not. One week down one to go. I have a house full of family from out of town and instead of making them all wear little medical masks I’ve been staying at a friend’s house going to visit when I can muster the energy. I am truly a sad hostess.  Tonight I am inviting my family over to a Christmas feast prepared by someone other than me so as not to spread the flu around. I stayed in a hotel for a few days in attempt to get some rest and boost my body’s ability to fight this nasty little bug I don’t know if it helped or not but the sleep sure was awesome. The problem is there was no one to serve me chicken soup or run my bath. Back at my friends crowded home and since they are making dinner I am buying the ingredients. I think that’s fair. What I wouldn’t pay to just go back to bed!  Well off to the store to get a few last minute things but I didn’t want to do anything else until I wished you a Happy Holiday!
