Blackberry me

The Blackberry has one feature that I love and need so much that even when I became a fan of the Ipad I refused to even look at the heralded iphone. The feature is the push notifications for email so the minute I get an email my black berry gets the email immediately and I can read and respond. Perfect for a woman on the go who wants to be able to provide customer service to those who are willing to submit and continue their training when I'm not around through my recordings.  About a week ago one of my 4 programmed emails stopped notifying me "instantly" emails have been taking up to 12 hours to make it to my blackberry. WTF? So for a week now I've been on the phone with various rep's who go through the process of removing the battery, rebooting, reactivating, deleting the emails, reinstalling the emails, checking the settings and after an hour of going through what I've told them I've already done they then send me to the next "level" of service higher up than they are and then I go through the process yet again. 4 days ago I was on the phone for 2 1/2 hours while they played the guessing game and then pass the buck before admitting there is a weird problem with the e mail and blackberry's service that started with some phones right around New years eve. Perfect, Now you tell me. At least they accepted the responsibility and now I just have to wait until they fix it, right?

So today I call and ask for and ETA on when they think they might get this worked out and what do you think happened? Yep, groundhogs day. Back to "Troubleshooting" and pass the buck. Only this time Verizon says they only cover phone calls and texting...the manufacturer "Blackberry" is responsible for the Apps and therefore they now wash their hands of the issue as Blackberry has acknowledged it is a bigger problem. Funny when I bought my Blackberry from the VERIZON store I don't remember that disclaimer. As I write this I am on hold with Blackberry as they figure out who to pass the buck to now. I've only been on hold for 15 minutes so if we add that to today's total of about an hour and half...so far. Add that to my other calls and we are looking at about  hours total. Now Blackberry is saying it is my email host which is funny because 1. my email host says its them and 2. on friday Blackberry acknowledged it was their issue.  So now it's time to go somewhere else. I hated sprint, Verizon was useless when I needed them and Blackberry is incapable of providing me with the service I pay for. So it looks like Iphone but which carrier? They all seem to be inept and inadequate. Does anyone have any ideas before my Black Berry Buries me?
