Congratulations you've made it through another year. Not just any old year either, a tough year for the entire world. I was trying to explain to a family member that once you've picked your path you must walk it and find happiness along the way. Happiness isn't an elusive rabbit running through the forest, it is more like a plant and almost all paths have them but you have to find them. You have to plant the seeds, nurture them and give them the time and attention they need to grow. Then through the course of your path you will be picking the fruits from those efforts. You can't just hop from path to path looking to scoop up the happiness seeds and have a full course meal. The longer you stay the course the bigger and the sweeter the fruit along the way.
I've changed course a few times in my life. Some by choice some out of necessity but the course I'm on is full speed ahead. Yep there are bumps and set backs with little obstacle courses but I'm happy with my path. Great view!
Last Night was my second Sub Auction. Every year a group of local Dommes get together and auction off their subs (husbands) for charity on New Years Eve. Each bidding on their own as if to show off who was able to donate more money. Last year I didn't realize this and walked into a weird situation. A Domme I did not know wanted to know if I was bidding on her guy for sexual use? Hmmm Amusing, someone thought I would pay for sex. Nom I wanted him for menial labor. "She" turned out to be his wife and didn't bid against me, I guess those family jewels still had use for her.
This year I went in prepared and with the same budget different tactic. Instead of dressing the part of the strong woman with my leathers and strong red and black colors and I went in "softer". Blues, pinks and a sweater, enhancing my "girl next door" characteristics. Disarming those I didn't know and amusing those I did. 7 Men were on the auction block and I got 2 of them, I'd say the tactic worked. Now I have until Jan 31st to use them for whatever I have in mind. I went looking for an accountant and a musician instead I got a sub contractor and a bank sales associate manager (whatever the hell that is). Oh god the things I'm going to do to them. Can you say "guinea pigs?" The bank guy was going to get the worst of what I have planned but I get the feeling he was trying to impress me with his title. He may just be a plain ole teller, in which case torture wont be any fun for me. I'll think of something else.
I drank one glass of champagne and then cheated with my chilled sparkling cider bottle. I had a driver and a car compliments of a dear friend and was home by 1am. Not a night of debauchery but definitely a wicked night of tactics, planning and preparation! I need meat for my videos and I think I just found some and all while raising money for charity! I'd say this year is starting off well. Happy New year!
